Burn your tutu

A ballet can be done everywhere. As Wearers we don't need a sim for that as we can perform when and wherever we want. This opportunity of the LEA sim demanded another approach. To enable us to work all on the same project a concept was needed (not necessarely mine) but as we were not able to step out of our own shadow we failed. But as we have whole our secondlife to improve there will be other opportunities. With this group or another. As I forgive you all deeply and especially myself I only would like to ask you all not to use me or my pink tutu as inspiration as I am not worth it. Ofcourse it is no problem when you wear it when you are doing the garden or making a pizza. I failed bitterly. To punish myself for that I left the Pink Penis Tutu group in SL.

  2. Ok end of the tutu saga.

I'll remove this blog, unless someone in the group wants to keep it ?

For the archives here is what I thought the day following your proposition:

During the tutu meeting of the 25th of september Saveme Oh asked for a total reset of what we had started with Kikas and Marmaduke.

I am not for this reset and would rather:

    - Adapt what is already there to this new proposition by Saveme Oh - 3 parts scenography - which I find interesting. Each person bringing his toys and ideas in a common playground.

    - OR have this new proposition tested in some high altitude of the sim (no difference apart from the "sea" + "ground" terraforming and for this last part a giant sculpty can also be used for a test) and then decide of what to do.

Here are - in no particular order - the reasons why I would rather not reset what has been made:

    1. When we started playing with the sim Saveme did not want to play with us, prefering an obvious "And now the NOT owners are allowed to play a little with the grounds, level them up, level them down, put the water high, put the water low, cover them with pink colors, cover them with stones." "those idiots" etc

    2. Obvious to say but I started a build which I think would be interesting for this Tutu sim (it is far from finished atm)

    3. I asked Moti to rez a house in the room inside the Volcano: some sort of "Home Sweet Home" in Hell.

    4. The tutu group is a small one with only a few builders. I may be wrong but I not sure resetting the sim would not end up in a full saveme oh sim with saveme oh logos everywhere which I think is not the purpose of a collective build.

    5. All things end up to being a question of personal tastes. I do not see why the taste of someone should prevail on the ones of the others in such a group (where there no hierarchy). So having a mix of the different ideas is for me the way to ensure everyone has her/his tastes… transformed in prims.

  3. I will miss the the great atmosphere of joy and creativity that was the hallmark of this group from start on. I am just a bystander and a fan and a hangaround but I was so glad to be able to take a small part in this very special clash of beautiful minds.
I have not been there lately as I supposed you all the builders were planning for LEA in a way that I really could not contribute to, so I thought "Better let them work". That was of course a stupid misunderstanding. I should have been there and I should have spoken in defense for what I thought was so fine here.
Well, I still have Marmas promise to take part in his ballet... and I have a box of special freebies from Eupa, and I have some Susas standing at a balcony at my parcel...
Bad this. I miss something. Lets have some kind of restart. Same same but different.

  4. It's ironic that we all banded together to bring a celebration of individuality out of chaos to fight against the personal attacks on SaveMe when she was away and now everyone just seems a step away from attacking one another. "Tutu" was the cause of individuality and now that we have named a church after it, it behaves like any other organized religion. It's only natural.

  5. that's a bitter lesson to learn, sometimes the better way to learn is through mistakes.
